My goal is to create an environment where students and patients feel comfortable to ask questions, have the ability to develop and progress, and are pushed to reach their full potential. I utilize constant positive feedback and affirmation allowing my students and patients to focus on their strengths during their sessions while still addressing their weaknesses in a nurturing way. I give my support, knowledge, and guidance to help my students and patients find new ways of moving.
My teaching style is based on my past experience with dance and being in the healthcare and fitness field. My classically ballet based training, Pilates teachings, and anatomy based education all play a key role in my teaching style.
Within my sessions, students and patients have time to practice and to explore movement of their own bodies. These sessions allow students and patients to be able to learn how their own individual body moves, and how they can develop and work in a way that is best for them. I hope to teach students and patients how to be smarter and more efficient movers to help them in their everyday lives.
